1. What is LLDPE geomembrane?

LLDPE is made from linear low-density polyethylene resin. Compared to HDPE, its molecular structure is more flexible. If HDPE is like a hard plastic sheet, then LLDPE is more like a thick, tough “rubber sheet.”

2. Core Advantages

Excellent Flexibility: It can closely conform to uneven substrates, making it ideal for construction at corners, pipe openings, and complex shapes.

Superior Tear and Puncture Resistance: LLDPE has better cushioning properties against the pressure of sharp stones or irregular objects and is not easily punctured.

Exceptional Elongation at Break: It has extremely high elongation (typically exceeding 700%-800%). When uneven settlement occurs in soft soil foundations, the membrane will stretch without easily breaking.

Low Temperature Resistance: It remains flexible in cold climates and will not become brittle or crack.
